The idea behind this is to post a song (or more) and then post 10 seconds of that song where something amazing happens. An emotional moment, an awesome lick, great harmony,...

Here are a few great ones, imo:

Pain of Salvation - Rope Ends [6:39-6:49] (great harmony)
Opeth - The Drapery Falls [5:00-5:10] (great tranistion of emotion)
Sonata Arctica - Wolf & Raven [3:27-3:37 (great harmony)
Blind Guardian - Somewhere far Beyond [0:35-0:45] (just plain awesome)
Meshuggah - Sublevels [2:28-2:38] (great jazzy solo)
Dream Theater - The Glass Prison [0:54-1:04] (great rhythm)
Cradle of Filth - Principle of Evil Made Flesh (BSTS version)[2:51-3:01] (I've always loved the agression in that part)

I've had loads of these over the past few months, most have totally slipped my mind though. Here's a few off the top of my head.

The Who - Baba O Reilly - 3:05 to 3:15 - Great lick
Metallica - Astronomy - Also 3:05 to 3:15 weirdly enough - Repetition of guitar licks going down in octaves
Kid Rock - I'm Wrong But You Ain't Right - 3:01 to 3:11 - Awesome lick

Dream Theater - A Change of Seasons - (13:00-13:10) Awesome part right here, for some reason it sounds straight out of a castlevania song.

Great call, love that bit of the song.

Claude Debussy - Claire de Lune [0:00 - 0:10]
Metallica - Hit the Lights [1:05 - 1:15]
Megadeth - Tornado of Souls [0:00 - 0:10]
Evergrey - As I Lie Bleeding [0:00 - 0:10]
Dream Theater - Octavarium - Shit, can't find it, but it's the bit with the classical guitar solo.

Wow, I like a lot of intros..

Black Label Society - Forever Down - 2:45 to 2:55 (The end to one of my favorite solos, the harmonics he pulls off here are insane)

Shadows Fall - The light that Blinds - 0:25 to 0:35 (I like the transition from the calm acoustic solo to an onslaught of guitar and drums)

Avenged Sevenfold - Seize the Day - 3:20 to 3:30 (Even though I'm not a huge fan I have to give their guitarist some respect for this Guns N Roses-esque song/solo.)

Black Sabbath - N.I.B. - 0:40 to 0:50 (That bass line is something every metal fan should know)

Children of Bodom - Needled 24/7 - 0:10 to 0:20 (This song just comes storming out of the gates and doesn't let up)

Foo Fighters - Hell - 0:50 to 1:00 (One of my all time favorite groups, this is when the song picks up its momentum)

I'll think of some more later.

The Traveling Wilburys' "Margarita" from 2:12 to 2:22. Sometimes I just fast-forward to that part of the song and skip the rest.

Cream's "Badge". The entire bridge of the song. It's longer than 10 seconds, but it's definitely the best part.

The Beatles' "A Day In The Life" from 2:10 to 2:20. I love the shift from the orchestra going nuts to the bouncy piano

The Allman Brothers Band's "Jessica" from 0:12 to 0:22. Whenever I first hear the main theme of the song for the first time, it makes me happy.

Neutral Milk Hotel's "King of Carrot Flowers Parts 2 and 3" from 0:22 to about 0:34. Just download it and listen to that part. It's amazing how long he holds the note.

Allman Brothers Band - A Brers In A Minor (3:43-3:53) The baseline that kicks in is orgasmic.

The Beatles - Happiness Is A Warm Gun (1:30-1:40) The song completely changes out of no where with some amazing vocals.

Miles Davis - So What (3:23-3:33) John Coltrane playing saxophone suddenly kicks in.
