It needs to stop.

Imports:

Mainly Honda bashing going on for no reason. Face it, Honda and Toyota make the best cheap/dependable cars on the market. Domestics are catching up, but they're still somewhere around the early to mid '90s Hondas.

Domestics:

We make better trucks, plain and simple. When I say truck, I mean what a truck really is, a 1/2 ton V8 spartan workhorse. We will continue to dominate this market for quite some time. Imports are sort of catching up, but they don't offer anything to really compete with that kind of truck, you can't get a regular cab 8ft bed Toyota. Otherwise, imports are roughly mid '90s domestic quality/utility.

Motorsports:
If you're going to bash import/domestic sports cars, atleast back up your argument, and keep it logical. Comparing a Z06 to a Miata is about as fair and intelligent as any of Newfz's posts in the last three months.

So please, clean up the signatures, and lets return to the civility we had at one point.

As far as mechanical quality goes, we're on par with any Honda (well... all except the Neon, anyways. But thats being replaced).

Not only that, but the Titan and Tundra are whiping the floors with our F-Series, Silverado, Ram, and GMC models. They're better in all aspects of trucking.

So your claims TacticalVirus are a bit reversed, or perhaps ignorant from dumb, un-informed stereotypes.

Not really. The Endurance engine is about the only thing the Titan has going for it. The f-150 has better interior, and exterior, with a stronger drivetrain, more payload, and more towing capabilities.

I didn't come here with the intent of starting something with anyone, but when pat made those comments, I had to correct him. Sorry if I was annoying anyone the last couple of days. Can we all be friends? ;)

The titan may be doing well in the comparisons, but have you looked at the price? Also the Tundra hasn't been doing better than the F-series, maybe better than the silverado and ram but their do for a makeover soon anyway.

Trust me... The Tacoma and Titan are at the top of their classes. Don't make me drag out the facts.

And the Titan isn't that much more expensive than the F-150 or RAM. There is less than a $1,000 retail price difference.

It will never stop. Even if you get all the current asshats to comply.. there will still be the newbies popping on here with there 1 to 4 post to stir shit up.
You can't go to any races, meets etc.. without having the same arguements or disagreements so how the hell could anybody possibly think it could suddenly stop on a public humor forum? Im not flaming you, I just want to be realistic about this arguement that's been around longer then most have been alive on this forum is all.

No reason? Im sure it's because people keep talking down other makers/models and comparing them in aspects to which Honda doesn't have a place in.

I would have to say.. Honda and Toyota make the cheapest/dependable cars on the market today according to all your major magizines but in my opinion not the BEST by a long shot. That would be too ignorent of a statement for me to agree with.

Again, I don't agree with this bs. Somewhere around the early to mid 90s? are you kiddin me? I had a 87 thunderbird 5.0L last without anything except normal items like tires, brakes etc.. to 163k.. I sold it for $2000 and the kid's still beating it to this day. I sold it about three years ago
I've owned a 87 ponitac fiero which all said and done had 155k on it.. outside of wheel bearings and the hydro clutch going out.. it was smoothe sailing.. I've owned three mustangs, all of which have been raced weekend after weekend mostly on the street.. pushed to the limits and I have to say outside of normal tires, clutch etc.. I've only killed one rear end and four sets of u joints which are all because of the extrem amount of abuse.. oh and three stock t5 borg warner shit box tranmissions :wtf: Other then that I've never had a problem with my Olds Cutlass, C4 corvette, Buick Gn, or my Syclone.. well the Syclone i've bent the front propshaft once, and snapped it twice but that's due to modifications and racing again ha.. but my point is.. a car is what you make of it. If you maintain it, she'll treat you right providing it's not defective or in pat's cause.. previously owned by a retard. BeSides.. early 90s to mid 90's Honda's were shit

I agree with this to a point.. I've often seen on here people comparing a 3.0L whatever with x amount of cash wasted on it.. to say a stock viper or something.. since the 3L with x amount of mods runs down the stock viper they all say the domestic car( in this case a viper) is total shit. So the shit flys both ways in my opinion. What's funny though, is that this forum is like 85% import/euro or maybe more yet there is more drama then any other forums I've seen haha

Yeah GM purchased Daewoo Motors division from its giant Korean parent corporation Daewoo International.

Daewoo International are involved in chemicals, mining, heavy machinery, defence (inc small arms), ect.
Although I am not particularly fond of the look of their pistols. (Too much plastic!). Much prefer my Desert Eagle. :D
