I know, I read this yesterday and it pissed me off.

Although I find it funny that the Jews need to hire a lawyer...

Cool! I made a thread in E/N about the Christmas tree, holiday thing.

I actually watched Q13 FOX News SEATTLE this morning on my sat. dish and saw this. It pissed me off.

Why didn't the airport show some backbone? Why didn't they just put up what the Jew wanted and KEPT the christmas tree.

At least Delta Airlines still has there Christmas tree up on there ticketing counter. Go Delta!

A local rabbi wanted to install an 8-foot menorah and have a public lighting ceremony. He threatened to sue if the menorah wasn’t put up, and gave a two-day deadline to remove the trees.
Do Jews put 8-foot menorahs in their homes.

Its a STUPID business move.

Do you realize, in America, how much contreversy is started by the removal of Christmas trees, and PC terms.

Target, had boycotts and strikers last year, and MANY people refused to buy there.

Target LOST business, and GAVE UP, and did a last minute switch-a-roo, Merry Christmas TV campaign.

This year, the large retailers are not as stupid to do that anymore, because of everything that starts up from it.

Sea-Tac airport has pissed off alot of people in Seattle. That is BAD for business.

And its a GOOD move for the Delta Airlines ticketing counter to put up a Christmas tree, which INCREASES their business.

Sorry, BigMatt, but in USA, you got that reversed.

National boycotts, are not good for business and PR.

Don't insult Bill O'Reilly, he is the guy on the front lines in the media, using his power and influence to aid the little guy in his fight against the big, corrupt Liberal PC'ers

So what?

It's an airports job to fly people places, not wish festive greetings.

Why knock them for a simple move to improve business by not alienating customers?
Who the fuck gets "alienated" by a tree!?

Seriously, do you ever walk into a hotel or an airport, see a Christmas tree, and become so horribly un-comfortable that you feel "alienated" enough to leave? If so, you have bigger problems than a tree.

I'm pretty sure that if I walked into an Airport right now and saw a Jewish candle holder, that I wouldn't be so uncontrollably inconvenienced that I felt the need to leave.

Do you ever look at your posts after you write them, and realize how worthless they are?

This is a perfect example of the multiculturalism flop. When this country starts falling, falling, falling down into a 3rd world shithole while these morons are scrambling around in a mad frenzy to remove anything "un-extra-culturalistic", I'll be laughing my ass off in some other country.

Obviously enough members of our society see it right to go this way, you can't stop it.
It's a vocal minority. The majority are too busy with their lives to make a stink either way. His life must be really good if a Christmas tree causes him such pain and strife that he feels the need to complain. If a Christian complained about a menorrah or Star of David somewhere for something, the same people accepting this would be calling for the Christian's head and talking about the intolerance of the religion. It's that double standard to which I referred in another thread earlier today.

:confused:quint: :confused:quint: you don't think this alienates any Christians?
No one cares when the majority is alienated, only the minority.
I don't mean to sound glib, but it's true.

When I was in my government class, I remember I was taught that one of the US consitution's goals was to have the majority rule but not at the expense of the minority.

After all, America was a minority that broke from England.

I respect Bill O'Reilly. I didn't diss him. But he tends to have people at the grasp of thier hands.

Nice spin inrecop.

This is why, it should be the Christmas tree ONLY. If we allow other things in, more people complain about their rights, blah, blah, blah.

Wow. He is also the guy who paid off his accuser, just like Michael Jackson did. And since you seem to be so familiar with Idiot O'Reilly, then you know just how much of a hypocrite he is.

There will always be friction from people when society changes. We're simply progressing. I understand if you don't like the changes that are being made, but you should understand that these changes don't just pop up out of thin air. Obviously enough members of our society see it right to go this way, you can't stop it.
I suggest you move to San Fran, buy a hybrid, and start enjoying the smell of your own farts with the Marsh family cause thats the most retardedly smug statement I've ever seen on this board. Its a vocal minority combined with a small group of enablers, its not "enough members of our society" who see this as a good thing. They see the removal of an object, that is asthetically pleasing and has become much more of a cultural symbol than a religious one, due to an individual's bitching as progress?
