It's got an awesome Storyline for a TPS (Not to Metroid/Halo standards, but it's still pretty fucking sweet). It's not long but it's longer than your average Shooter (I finished it in around 8 hours with my Brother) where I finished Halo 2 in around 6-7 Hours. The Games going to be a Trilogy and it's going to revolve around the War and the "Female voice" that you hear in alot of Cutscenes.

But Online is where it's at. It's a max of 8 players and it get's really intense, it has great Maps and being a team based game it's great if poeple on your friends list has it. If you get some skill at it and play it with people of your level, it get's REALLY addictive. If you've got a 360 + Live, you'll need this Game.

And if your like me and are always Camrine Online (He's the best if your playing as a COG) I found this amusing.

Its a very intense multiplayer game. I love playing 4 on 4 and having to boil down to a 1 on 1 battle and have you teammates watching its awesome. The single player is short but an absolute kick ass game. And the chainsaw kill, best melee attack ever!

The soundtrack is quite intense as well. If anybody wants some tracks.

As if your "waits for xeo" is any less retarded. I swear it's like a race to see who can make the first post talking shit about the other in every game thread. You him and Moo should just all circlejerk each other and relieve all that fanboy tension.

Actually, as awesome as the game is, the story was the one extremely crappy thing in it...To say the most, the story sucked. It was an awesome concept, but horribly developed...There were so many irrelevant parts, and so many dead-ends and unresolved lines, and sudden turns, that you dont gather anything from the story...

Like, with Fenix's house...it didnt go into why his house was so important whatsoever, or why he just happened to have a secret lab with all the locust caves all mapped out on some computer in his basement...or why he was in prison, or even a basic history of why they were where they were and how exactly they got there...and so much more...

There was SO much potential in the story-line, but they truly failed miserably...

That doesnt mean the gameplay is any worse, though. The gameplay pwns, but I can tell you, I played through the single player just to see he cool-looking levels, not to find out what happened...

Now that you mention Fenix's House, it never actually occured to me why they were there. I was more carried away with keeping them out of the House than wondering why I was in it I guess.

Hopefully these loose ends are tied up in the next installment, I also hope Epic manage to tone on the Characters they have and go into a little backstory on each (like to why Fenix was locked away)...But most of all, BRING BACK CARMINE MOTHERFUCKERS!

I liked Gears of War but I have to say that the guys you control feel really kind of clunky when running around. Don't get me wrong the game is fun and looks great but it's not perfect, not by my tastes anyway.

Yeah, they probably hear that single criticism a lot and will get right on it for the next one.

Kinda reminds me of Halo, where they try and get you emotionally involved with the story, but make you completely detactched from Master Cheif, making him have no significance what-so-ever.

The same thing with The Legend of Zelda, but I dont think Link would have his style at ALL if we knew a great back-story about him, and heard what he really thought of things. Still, though, it really detatches you from the story...

I am the type of guy that will love a bad game if it actually has a good story...It ends up hooking me just like a book does, and it makes it much more memorable.

Same. Only problem is it's largely found in RPG's, mainly Turn-Based where the battle System annoys me because of the annoying, Walk, Battle, Walk, etc.

One of the reasons I loved Tales of Symphonia and will most probably love Blue Dragon. You can run around the Enemies because they're on the Map so you can basically choose when you fight.
