I'm not gonna watch it because ghosts and spirits don't exist... But moonville isn't the best place to look for ghosts, just because one guy got run over by a train...

If i was a real ghosthunter, which i'm not, because there's no point, they don't exist and to look for them is a waste of time money and life, but if i was, the ultimate place to find uneasy spirits and pissed off ghosts would be the nazi death camps in Poland, and the mass graves in Russia... If ghosts and spirits unable to rest were to exist, that's the place you'll find them in abundance...

So go there and make a video and i'll watch it.

It's a shame to not enjoy something because it's not as dramatic as a Nazi death camp. And I tend not to believe Ghost hunters because they have something invested in finding evidence. I really didn't expect to find any. Believe what you want, even if it is nothing.

I don't know where you did your research..but it wasn't just one guy who got run over by a train...A few people died at the Moonville crossing, another from a mine explosion and some others being brakemen. I think what your talking about is the reported sighting of one ghost called the moonville ghost who was seen with a lantern. Also...the whole "I'm not going to watch it because ghosts don't exist" is pretty sad and basically proves that your basically not open minded. There is no proof that ghosts don't exist, and even so maybe not so much proof that they do exist. Based on that, I don't see how you can absolutely say that they don't exist, but to each his own I guess. By the way, the Waverly hills sanitorium wouldn't be a bad idea to "look for ghosts" either being that about 30,000 people died there.

o god. Get that bitch. This dood calls himself a free thinker yet dismisses things based upon his opinion.

as far as I know " orbs " are an unexplained light phonemenom (sp) in most cases. Any photographer can tell you this. Who knows why those damn things pop up.

IMO the best place to look for "spirits" would be where ever a satanic cult has held rituals. I would assume that there would be some pretty freaky things happening there. Personally, i'd never set foot in a place like that during the night time.

I dont know what to think of ghosts. Who knows what happens to your body when you die. Do you just rot away in the ground or does mankind really have a soul? its tough to say which is right because of as now, no one knows what sparks life.

these are the questions a free thinkiner asks themselves dayve. Dismissing things based upon opinion\beliefs is something that religious people do.

I am free thinking, but there's no point spending time trying to think about a dead end.

So a few people died there?

I live a 3 minute walk away from a place called wargrave in England... A particularly bloody battle took place here in the civil war in which thousands died... The exact battlefield i've stood on... There are ghost stories of soldiers being seen wandering around in bloodied uniforms and such shit, but have i ever seen any? Nope... And i've walked home through there many a time at night, too many times to remember.

Ghosts exist only in peoples minds. If somebody takes you to an abandoned house in the middle of nowhere and tells you it's the most haunted place in the world, your mind will see and hear ghosts... You will see and hear all sorts of strange things, and it'll scare the shit out of you... The mind is a powerful thing.

So don't tell me i'm close minded... It's like opening a box that has nothing in it... You can't study the contents of the box, because there's nothing in it. Ghost stories are empty boxes.

wait so..again..BASED on your OWN experiences...in some place where you heard ghost stories about..and being that you didn't witness any apparitions..you made up your mind that ghosts completely don't exist?

Thank God..I been lookin for proof that they didn't exist for ages..and you have proven it..you know..based on your own experiences and all..YES! Thanks for proving us all wrong. Everyone knows because you didn't see any ghosts in some town where you heard ghost stories in that there is NO WAY ghosts can exist anywhere ever at anytime...HAHA take that ghost hunters

Ghosts aren't real but I have seen three.

I blame it on the thing in my skull. Fucking brains. Oh yeah and eyes. Fuck you eyeballs! :@

Oh yeah, no, I am not going to bother telling anyone what I saw. No point, it just makes you sound like a twat. Why bother telling anyone? Wont make it any different for me.

Forgot to add, this video wasn't very good. Well made but total tripe.

    "Orbs"

Often used in old series of "Most Haunted" to describe specs of dust that the cameraman got confused about. Dust anybody?... Dust!... Anybody?.... Dust! etc etc

So because you haven't seen them, that means there are none. :rollseyes

Here's a tip. Try stating your opinions as simply that...opinions. Only arrogant people submit their opinion as fact.

That's kind of funny. You're actually the absolute most close minded person I've run across on this board. :D Sorry.

As cool as ghost hunting is, "orbs" just piss me off. It's just dust for crying out loud. I used to take pictures for bands during shows. There was this one place they played at which was the old russian aid society. The room was dark and dusty, and every picture the flash would catch all the dust and you would have dozens of orbs in pictures. Orbs that I would have to edit out by hand in every picture, which got to be a real nuisance. It happens in any dusty room. Go in your attic, or basement, or an old abandoned building and snap a pic with the flash on, just into the middle of the room, and poof GHOSTS!!

    Lame.

I would have said exactly the same thing prior to those pictures. I went out of my way to not have orbs, watching the lighting and such, keeping the camera free of dust, because I knew going in that other such pictures had turned up there. What surprised me was that they showed up even under controled circumstances and on two cameras without harsh lights like you might find in concerts.

told you dayve. I'm not the only person who thinks you're closed minded. You spit out opinions and state them as fact. Honestly, who does that?

I'm not saying ghosts exists but ghosts stories go back thousands of years and every culture ever has had an account of this. Some of these cultures had no contact with each other yet determined the same thing. How is that possible?

And if the body does have a soul, what happens to you when you die. Do you just rot in the ground, or is there another part to life. What sparks life? is that the soul? Things can't be explained simply by stating " because I said so " technique which you love to do. Just like in the time travel thread which everyone owned you on.

you're closed minded and you won't accept fact when you're proven wrong.

The whole world is perception. This is why one person can seem to be " normal " yet a " crazy " person can imagine a fairly land. The world is what you percieve it as. Who's right? since they're are more normal people than crazy people, you would probably say the normal people are right but that could be wrong. How can you believe what your eyes and brain tell you? you can't. So if you saw something weird, you would think thats just my mind playing tricks but the whole world could be one big trick. FREE THINKING BITCH.

But saying that you saw ghosts... contradicts your theory that they don't exist.

How can you tell us theres no such things as ghosts..when you just stated you saw three...
