Whenever someone asks a question, most of the times people say "Google it".

However whenever I come across something that intrests me, I go straight to Wikipedia. I think it's easier, it looks better, and it's quicker because I don't have to choose a link and I don't have to deal with unrelated links.

So whenever you have a "Google it" momment, what do you choose?

It really depends on what you are searching for. If I am working on a project where I need detailed information, I use a combination of both but primarily Wiki.

For pictures and specific websites and things, I'll use Google.

For porn, Booble all the way...;)

Google is a given.

Being as Wikipedia can be edited by anyone, it's junk information.

Wikipedia first. Google often becomes necessary to come to a full, in-depth review of whatever i'm talking about.

I usually only search google for images, videos, and technicall problems. Unless I have the exact information then I use Wiki for school reports.

They're two completely different things, but for infomation on a certaint topic Wikipedia, and for browsing sites, images, and video, Google.

When I am looking up a word on google I do "define:"word" and one of the definitions is usually from Wiki.

Wiki IS a trusted source.

Do you know how nerdy those editors are. They let NOTHING get past them.

I have read articles about wiki and how these editors are really serious about everything.

It is restricted though. They absolutely do NOT allow auto-biographies. I was reading that some band was marked "un-notable" and on Google their band had 90 related search results.

Everything has to be cited and sources.

It is really top-notch wiki. So to me its trustable, but a little dictatorship-ish.
