Have you ever seen a car wreck?

Last night, I had just got into my car which was parked on my street. I see a car down at the end of the street, it starts picking up speed, and eventually is probably going anywhere from 65-85.(keep in mind this is just a regular neighborhood street) Well, there is a slight curve right at the end of the street(where I am standing) the car doesn't make it, hits a the curve, literally flew over someone's yard(The bushes were all bent, but there was no grass was torn up) bounced on the street, went into another yard and then crashed into a house. I witnessed the entire thing at 9:30 right in front of my house.

I ran inside and told my mom to call 911, I rushed back outside, and two people were pulling them out of the car. They were lying on the ground, screaming, and kept yelling that they didn't know what just happened. The guy kept complaining his back was hurting, and he kept trying to run away and said he was going to walk home. The girl's ankle was broken, she was driving. It turns out they were both drunk as hell, you could tell the guy was especially. They arrested the girl for DWI I guess.

They had no idea how lucky they were, they grazed a tree, and then grazed a fire hydrant, and came within inches to a light pole. Had they hit any of them, they could of been dead.

The only witnesses were me and this other guy walking his dog. We had to talk to the cops and tell them what we saw. They were two 20 year olds, and they are fucking idiots for doing what they did. They are lucky to be alive.

Most insane thing I've seen.

I saw a very minor accident last night..

I've always heard that kias are SHITTY cars and i realized last night...

a kia hit a car in front of it going about 30-35 and the car that was hit had no visible damage except a few scratches. the fucking kias engine was pancaked into itself...

You can move a pole or a fire hydrant but you'll never move a tree at any speed.

In fact, newer light poles are designed to shear at the bottom on impact.

I was in a car accident... not a wreak but, well just read on...

I was about 4 or 5 and I was in the back of my mums 4X4 stood up on the metal floor (I think we took the seats out for some reason, this was before any of the heavy seatbelt laws were enforced) anyway, we were driving down a hill in winter and we hit some black-ice... next thing I know the 4X4 is upside down and I'm being pulled out through the window.

The only other thing I remember was that I was crying pretty bad and one of the neighbors tried to calm me by giving me some licorice... I hate that stuff.

Last year when i was riding the bus home there was a big car wreck at an intersection and I saw my annoying older cousin standing on the sidewalk crying. I guess somebody rear-ended her and fucked up her car. I pointed and laughed at her from out of the window.

I sort of have one. I was driving on the highway and some guy in a Acura or something blows by me at 100 or more MPH weaving between traffic. I watched him until other cars blocked my view. A few seconds later I see the car sideswipe the median then bet hit from behind by another car. Everyone had to slow down, so by the time I got up to him he was outside his car, so I flipped him off and yelled something.

The worst Ive ever seen was when my sister and I were driving down the road at about midnight, and this little old guy came cruising by on his motor-cycle going really fast. And when he was pretty far ahead of us, he just started shaking really bad and flew off of it backwards... And he wasn't wearing a helmet. Yeah it was pretty bloody and he was slightly decapitated so I don't think the helmet would've helped much.

I've seen one and been in one. The one I saw was a guy pulling out of a parking lot and getting hit by a guy on the main road. There didn't appear to be serious damage to either car and nobody was hurt. The one that I was in was me sitting at a red light and then all of a sudden I get rear ended by some old lady. It was $2000 worth of damage and I was late to my cross country race because of it.
I've had friends in some pretty bad accidents. I've been in one and seen a few.

Two of my friends were driving to Columbus, OH. They were on the highway (at night) and there was a car stopped in the middle of the lane. It didn't have any lights on, so they didn't see it until they were really close. They swerved, and were hit head on by a semi. The car rolled over three or four times, and Stephanie ended up rolling out of a window. She had a LOT of lacerations from the broken glass. Greg cut his index finger a little. :) Other than that, they were (very, very luckily) okay.

Two other friends, Chris and Andrew, were driving at night and were T-Boned by a drunk driver at a cross-section. Andrew went through the windshield, Chris through the passenger's side window. Andrew had a few broken bones, and several thousand in dental surgery. They got 50K out of the guy, though.

I was in a fender-bender. Boring.

Witnessed a 5 car pile-up on the freeway. That was scary as fuck.

I'm only 14, so nothing major has ever happened to me.. But there was this one time when the school went on a ski/snowboard trip in grade 8. When we were driving back on the bus we were on a rather narrow road near a steep drop by a river. On the right side of us was a rocky hill. Anyways, we're going down the road pretty fast and I guess another bus was coming towards up going faster, my window was open and I looked up and the next thing I knew I heard a loud crash and a thud in the aisle. The mirror from the bus coming towards us got taken off and landed inside our bus. I guess the impact kinda fucked up the bus a little and the driver swerved onto the rockey hill beside us. Then we stopped a little while later so the bus driver could look at the bus. Then we went back to the school. That was the closest thing to an accident I've ever have happen to me.

I was driving to NC from Baltimore a couple years ago, and I watched as a lady in a Kia Sorento got ran over by a flatbed trailer. When I got to the beachhouse, I turned on the news just in time to hear that the driver died. It was kinda crazy.

Same day, when it was raining pretty hard, I saw a guy in a Grand Cherokee lose control on an entrance ramp, slide across 3 lanes of traffic, and stop in the left shoulder turned completely around. He didnt hit anyone (it would have been bad if I didnt see him spin out on the ramp, I mashed my brakes pretty good and still just missed him), but that could have been very bad.

I have kinda seen a car wreck, but kinda not cos no cars got wrecked lol, anyways, here what happened:

It happened close to Christmas last year. I was waiting in a bus station for my bus to arrive when a tow truck towing a big people carrier caught my attention. The truck stopped to wait for the lights to change at the T junction leading out of the bus station. Whilst it was waiting for the lights to change an old man who had walk passed me minutes earlier started to cross the road. He must have been about 90 and was walking very slowly. His eyesight was not very good either because he tried to walk between the tow truck and the car the truck was towing.
I remember finding it quite funny at first but then the truck started to set off and the old man went under the wheels of the people carrier.

At first the truck just moved forward a meter or so and the man fell to the ground. I thought he had stopped because he had realised what he had done. I stepped down from the wall so I could get a better view and try and see if the man was ok, but then the truck started to set off. It was a pretty heart stopping moment. I looked round for a brief second at the bus stop I was waiting at but no one at my bus stop seemed to have seen it apart from me. The truck started to make it’s way up a hill dragging the old man with it. So I jumped over the wall and ran through a car park so I could get to the other side of the road. I was just in time to see the old man go under one of the back wheels of the people carrier before rolling and stopping in the middle of the road. The tow truck just drove off. The old mans arm was shredded as were most of his clothes, his face was bleeding pretty bad too.

A woman pushing a pram on the other side of the road started screaming. Then a builder who was parked up in a van got out and ran over to the old man. A few cars stopped and people got out to help. I was just stud at the other side of the road not quite knowing what to do.

About 5 minutes after it happened the police arrived soon followed by an ambulance. I told the police what had happened and they took my details and stuff. I didn’t want to wait about to see them take the body away so I rang my Dad to pick me up (I had missed my bus)

The next day I read in the paper that the man was an 89 year old local man and died later in hospital and that the truck driver did not realise what had happened.

All in all it was one of the most surreal experiences of my life, you see videos of people being killed all the time on the internet but when you see it in real life it’s very different..........

And I haven’t just made this up, it really did happen and it was horrible to witness!

I saw a hit and run 3 years back.

The guys that caused the accident were racing in a camaro and they hit another car and took off. The other car was full of teens who had snuck out at night to go to a party. Me and my cousin waited to for the police and medics to come. All the while the kids were freaking out and contemplating fleeing the scene. They didn't ... but it was hilarious when one of the mothers came. She was screaming at the top of her lungs. Funny stuff.

My buddies and I were out one night last spring. So we were going to call it a night and drive home. We had to drive down a long country road to get back. All of a sudden this car, 2 cars behind us flashes its brights, were like WTF?

Then you see the car in front of the one that flashed its lights hit a telephone pole and do a flip. We turn around and go back to help the guy but it was too late.

The dude died on the scene, he fell asleep at the wheel.

That sucks. You get in a car accident and then get busted going to a party.

I forgot about this one. I was driving home from Baltimore and it had just started snowing. I saw the tire marks of a car that looked like it started fishtailing and then they cut all the way across the highway. At the end of the track was a brand new 350z smashed into the highway divider.

the night i graduated from highschool I saw 2 car accidents within 10 minutes of each other, and the following morning I saw a guy from a tree trimming service fall out of a tree. From HIGH up, coughing up blood and shit, they had to call a ambulance.
