I just recently got the Logitech MX revolution mouse, the thing works great, its the coolest thing ever.

I just have to ask someone who has had it for a while....how durable it is?
because the scroll thing when its loose seems like it will fall out any minute, and the right and left click just dont seem right, also it just probably feels weird because before this i had a $5 mouse from target for a couple of years

also with the scroll wheel i tend to click it repetitively just for the hell of it, would that make it worse

im just a bit concerned\paranoid.

also is there anyway to make the serch button make new tabs in firefox?
or is there a way to make it cycle through tabs in firefox?

I've heard people claim that their $100 mouse make them "pwn" at games (not saying you did) then I kick their ass with my Gateway/HP Ballmouse or my $20 Logitech.

The only reason I would like a super-accurate and expensive mouse is for digital art but I just use a Wacom tablet for that.

Did your mouse come with configuration software? Mine did... it let me cycle through windows. I didn't care for it so I used the default drivers and set mouse 4 to bring up my map in games or go back on firefox.

Yes, it came with their Logitech software, i can change all of the like 7 buttons to do things, but the key im thinking of is the one key that makes it search thing on Google when you highlight it and press the button.
Their is a way to make it do like say what i have right now "Ctrl+R" which is refresh, so currently i have it doing that.
Im looking for a way for it to make a new tab come up when i press the little button. Also, all Ctrl+T does is make a tab, but its untitled and i want this to link.

ALSO, if anyone has had this for a while now, will they please comment on its durability?

p.s. I got this as an early Christmas present, i was gonna return it, but then it seemed really cool....other then for this tabbing problem
