That video was kick ass, or at least I thought it was. He had a sweet car to do it in too. I've driven across the country a couple of times when I was in college and it was awesome. He even went through some interesting areas like Las Vagas. Nice touch at the end stopping at the sign that says "END".

Me being a geography major, and an american proud of the landscape it has, thought that was one of the greatest things I've seen on the net to this day. It was a little fast at times to pinpoint where he was but who cares. Anyone care to fill me in on the song? It went great with the video. Gawd it gave me the chills... :D

Some of it "looked" staged but I'm sure it wasn't

(Where he busted out the map, the mechanic, the friend, the car wash...)

I'm sure it was real, but It just seemed too perfect. ;)

I thought it was good though...

Yeah, that vid gave me chills too. I don't think it was fake, I just think that he edited a lot out and included the things like map, mechanic, friend etc.. to make it more interesting.

Oh i think it was real and all, but it wasn't playing at the same speed all the time. It was definately sped up overr night when he wasnt driving, and it slowed down when he got to new york. And im sure lots was cut. He didnt spend long enough on the highways, if he were actually going accross america. It is very good though!! i liked! peace out

PS. His camera has a LOT of tape/battery

Yo this clip was DAT SHIT!!!!

I would never go stay at a motel with my convertible top down with a camera in it though.

Regardless its a dope clip. Transitions and highlights seem to be well emphasized.

BIGUPS!!

I drove from Las Vegas to Boston last year and that's pretty much what it looks like. Although I can't believe he left his top down and camera in car over night in Las Vegas.

That was a cool video, nice song by the way. Glad they didnt put in that one song by Dirty Vegas, or it woulda been too much like a car commercial.

But look how did the guy have enough power in the batteries for that whole trip?I never used a camera before but im sure no batteries could last that long especially when he kept it on at night when he went to sleep.
He probably hooked up the camera to his car. You can't possibly have just one battery charge for a week of driving.

I wonder how many tapes he went through to film that. Digital camcorder tapes only hold about 2 hours.

Cool video, though...

It has to be real, because when you look in the three mirrors of the car it's too much like the environment around them. oh and the second guy's long hair billows in the wind.

Indeed. It's called "You and your smile" by Laquer.
yes it was in the UK charts for a while about a year ago - everyone was facinated by the video. as far as i know it was real, on eof these extreme music videos.
