Here is a video of a similar coaster at Cedar Point that is about 420 ft tall compared to the OP coaster height of 456 ft. The ride is designed to come to slowly crest the top of the hill. A few times a day, the coaster doesn't make it over and has to be relaunched to make it over. However, since the park has opened the ride in 2003 this is only the 2nd time a train full of riders has stopped perfectly on the top of the hill. Very cool.

    btw OP coaster:

Yep. The one in Cedar Point doen't make it over sometimes. I was going to go on it, but it was the longest live I've EVER seen for a coaster. The crowd reaction is priceless when the train doen't make it over. =p

I lived near that park for awhile in NJ...always had alot of fun, but they need to do something about the short rides, huge wait. It was pretty bad, I agree.

HOLY CRAP that looks so scary!! i couldn't imagine being up there. and the weird thing is, i actually rod that ride. It was cool but, after that vid im not sure i will again. and as for you dread pirate, being 500 feet in the air is enough of a rush its absolutly crazy being that high and going that fast is crazy! when i went on it the line was pretty long but it was worth it

This is why we need to have the reputation system back.

Anyway, i've been on the top thrill dragster but not the six flags knock off.
it was real fun even though it was so short. you have such a rush when you climb off of that thing. the best part is that i went in early may when the park isn't real busy which means i only had to wait for about 15 minutes to ride it.

Top thrill is really awsem for the acceleration, but i still like the millinium force better, just sitting at the top of the hill for a few seconds then falling 300ft is so awsem. I have been going to Ceder point every 2 years my whole life, its one of the nicest parks ever.

You can't have both a 120 mph coaster and a two-minute looping coaster at the same time. You gotta take your pick between speed or design.

By the way, a 120 mph coaster travels a mile in 30 seconds. If you wanted a one-minute super-high-speed coaster, you'd have buy 10,000+ feet of steel track.

I sat on Kingda Ka (that's the name of the rollercoaster).

It breaks down often, and was closed for about 80% of this year's Six Flags season.

As I said, I sat on it. It broke down and we had to get off....I hate six flags.
